2. Data categories and purposes
We use your name, email address, company and telephone details you provide, and your message to respond to your enquiry, identify product requirements and prepare a quotation. Technical access and security logs may be processed to operate the website and prevent misuse.
3. Collection methods and legal grounds
Data is collected electronically through the contact form, email and automatic web server logs. Processing directly related to a quotation or contract request is based on Article 5(2)(c) of Law No. 6698; statutory retention and reporting obligations on Article 5(2)(ç); and the establishment, exercise or protection of rights on Article 5(2)(e). Processing necessary for service security and enquiry management that does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms may fall under Article 5(2)(f). The legal ground is determined by the purpose and circumstances of processing.
4. Recipients and transfer purposes
We may share data with authorised staff and hosting, email and technical support providers to the extent necessary to respond to your enquiry and deliver the service. Where legally required, data may be disclosed to competent public authorities and courts. Order-related disclosures, including logistics, are limited to what the sale requires.
The website uses HostGator hosting. Hosting or email services provided abroad may involve international data transfers. Applicable conditions and safeguards under Article 9 of Law No. 6698 must be met for such transfers. This notice does not itself constitute permission or explicit consent for an international transfer.
5. Retention
We retain data for the periods required by the enquiry, contract and statutory time limits. When the processing ground no longer applies, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with the law.
6. Rights and requests
Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698, you may learn whether your data is processed, request information about processing, learn its purpose and whether it is used accordingly, identify domestic or foreign recipients, request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, and request deletion or destruction where legal conditions are met, together with notification of these actions to recipients. You may object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Send requests in writing to the company address, with information enabling identity verification, or use other methods permitted by law. You may also write to info@birogul.com from an email address previously provided to us and registered in our records. Requests are handled under the applicable procedures and deadlines, generally within 30 days.
